Masterclass by Mirjam Schröder at the Liszt Academy

On April 16–17, the Liszt Academy of Music will host a harp masterclass with Mirjam Schröder, Professor of Harp at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW).

The masterclass is open to the public, but prior registration is required. All those interested are warmly welcome to attend as members of the audience.

Making her concert debut at the age of fifteen with Mozart’s Concerto for Flute and Harp, Mirjam Schröder has since pursued an active international career as a soloist and chamber musician, performing throughout Germany, Russia, Japan, and across Europe, and featuring on numerous radio broadcasts and CD recordings. Her awards include the ARD International Music Competition (Audience Prize and Third Prize), the Concorsi Arpista Ludovico, and First Prize at the International Reinl Competition. Her teaching career includes a professorship at the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar (2006–2015), before her appointment in Vienna in 2015.
