Opera Composition Masterclass with Paolo Furlani at the Liszt Academy
Italian composer Paolo Furlani, professor of composition at the Conservatory of Vicenza, will visit the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest on 16–17 April 2026.
During his visit, he will give a lecture on opera composition and offer individual consultation sessions for composition students.

Individual consultations (by prior application)
Paolo Furlani is the composer of numerous operas that have been staged in major Italian theatres and international venues. His work is particularly focused on musical dramaturgy, theatrical thinking, and contemporary operatic language.
Up to six composition students may apply for individual consultations; preference will be given to applicants who have already composed an operatic scene.
The lecture is open to all interested participants and is especially recommended for composition students.
