Spanish pianist held masterclass at Liszt Academy

With the leadership of the guest professor, students were engaged with works by Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms, Smetana, Grieg and Prokofiev. Jesús María Gómez expressed his appreciation for the fact that the Liszt Academy’s renowned chamber music life is still very intense. He attended the concert of the "Contrasts" series organized by the Chamber Music Department on 7 April, and gave a concert with the head of the department, Balázs Fülei, where solo, four-hand and two-piano pieces by Spanish composers (Albéniz, Itturdale, Halffter, Arbó, Esplá, Valero-Castells) were performed.
