Diploma Ceremony 2026

Dear Graduating Students,

The diploma ceremony of the 2025/26 academic year shall be held according to the following:

BA graduating students: 27 June 2026 (Sat), 9.30 a.m.

MA and postgraduate graduating students: 27 June 2026 (Sat), 11.00 a.m.

Venue: LF8, Grand Hall (1061 Budapest, Liszt Ferenc tér 8.)

Please note the following important information regarding the ceremony:

• Registration: If you will not be attending the ceremony, please notify your study administrator by 24 June, 2026.
• Number of guests: Each student may bring up to 4 guests to the event.
• Arrival and assembly: Please take your assigned seat in the Grand Hall between 9:00 and 9:25 a.m.; if you are attending the 11:00 a.m. ceremony, please take your assigned seat as soon as possible after the BA graduation ceremony concludes, no later than 10:55 a.m.
• Seating: Graduates may only sit in the seats assigned and labeled for them. Leaving your seat, standing in the emergency exit aisle, placing stands, or moving forward towards the stage is strictly prohibited.
• Attire: Please dress in formal attire appropriate for the occasion. Students are advised to wear formal attire (an elegant dress, blouse and skirt/pants, or a shirt and long pants; wearing a jacket is recommended).
• Photography: An official photographer will take photos of the ceremony, which will later be made available online. If guests wish to take their own photos with a handheld camera or phone, please do so exclusively from your seats.
• Presentation and acceptance of diploma: Graduating students will be called to the stage one by one, by name, in alphabetical order order, grouped by department.
• Duration of the ceremony: The ceremony is expected to last 60-75 minutes.
