The Liszt Academy will host an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in Budapest in collaboration with four of the most prestigious music academies in Poland and Austria between 15 and 19 July. Professors and students from the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków, the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and the Mozarteum University Salzburg will join the Liszt Academy for a week of intensive piano masterclasses. Throughout the programme, the professors of the five institutions will jointly select the most outstanding students, who will perform in a final concert in the Solti Hall of the Liszt Academy. The programme will feature piano works by great European composers including Fryderyk Chopin, Ferenc Liszt, Ludwig van Beethoven, Robert Schumann, and Sergey Rachmaninov. The detailed concert programme will be announced one day before to the performance.
