The New Millennium International Chamber Music Festival, founded by violinist Miranda Liu, Hungary’s youngest concertmaster, puts the spotlight on chamber music and its most authentic presentation. Concerts feature, among others, Central European String Quartet, violist Nagao Haruka, pianist László Borbély and Bartosz Koziak, cellist from Poland. The festival’s closing concert is, at the same time, the occasion for the world premiere of the winning work of the Central European String Quartet’s the 2nd International Composers Competition, Wires (2020) by the Italian composer Andrea Vanzo.
