In the fall of 2024, the Liszt Academy will launch its new concert series titled “Sunday Afternoon Classics”. The series aims to offer a new alternative for classical music lovers, primarily—but not exclusively—those who prefer afternoon programs over evening performances. It provides an opportunity to enjoy timeless masterpieces of classical music in a pleasant Sunday afternoon setting. Current students of this prestigious institution will perform for the general public, making the series an excellent opportunity to discover the future stars of Hungarian musical life. The closing concert of the series will feature true classics of the vocal repertoire, performed by the opera students of the Liszt Academy.
