Delyana Lazarova was born in Bulgaria and studied music in Switzerland. From 2025, she has been principal guest conductor of the Utah Symphony and of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. She makes her debut with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, the Minnesota Orchestra and the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne. At this concert given jointly with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Delyana Lazarova will conduct Dvořák’s popular Violin Concerto with a solo by young Moldovan violinist Lilia Pocitari. Pocitari studied in Tel Aviv and Berlin, has successfully participated at numerous competitions and also won the Bartók World Competition in Budapest in 2023.
