1978-1982: Franz Liszt Academy of Music – Piano; professors: Erna Czövek, Klára Máthé, Zoltán Kocsis, Dezső Ránki, György Kurtág, Pál Kadosa, András Schiff
1983-1987: Indiana University; professor: György Sebők. He had been an assistant to Mr. Sebők for two years.
 
Teaching activities:
Since 1987 he has been a teacher at the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music
Since 2005 he has been a teacher at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music
 
PRrofessional activities:
Since 1993 he has been a publisher of Chopin Urtexts at Könemann Music.
He has developed a working relationship with a number of Hungarian composers, including László Sáry and Gyula Csapó, which has been indicated by many premières and compositions dedicated to him.
He has worked together with György Kurtág, of whom he has since become an authentic performer.
Since the turn of the millennium he has taken a major role in presenting the piano compositions of György Ligeti in Hungary – with Mr. Ligeti he has also developed an important working relationship.
 
Major concerts:
He has given solo- or chamber concerts in almost all the European countries and in the USA. He has played together with Miklós Perényi, Heinz Holliger, and Boris Pergamenchikov. His most frequent chamber music partners has been András Keller (violin), András Kemenes (piano four-hands), Csaba Klenyán (clarinet) and István Varga (cello).
