Education:
1973-77: piano, Bartók Béla Secondary School of Music, Budapest
1977-1983: piano, Liszt Academy of Music - studied under professors Sándor Falvai and Ferenc Rados.

Teaching activity:
1981–1991; 1999–2001: repetiteur at the Voice and Opera Dept. of Liszt Academy (joined while still being a student!)
2010– : professor of  Piano Accompanist and Repetiteur MA studies at the Keyboard Dept./Piano Accompanist and Repetiteur Training subdepartment of Liszt Academy.
2013– : Head of  the Piano Accompanist and Repetiteur Training subdepartment (concurrent with repetiteur instruction duties).

Masterclasses:
He has been the repetiteur of the masterclasses of  opera singer Sylvia Sass held annually in Rome  since 2005.

Other activities:
1999– : repetiteur at the Hungarian State Opera, currently he is the head repetiteur. He has a very wide repertoire of operas from early baroque to contemporary ones.
1985– : has been the regular accompanist of opera singers Andrea Rost, László Polgár, Erika Miklósa, József Simándy, Éva Andor, Syvia Sass on the national and international concert scenes, He has performed  across Europe, Russia, USA, Japan.

He has regularly been invited to various international voice competitions, i.e. Barcelona (International Singing Contest Francisco Viñas), Wien (Belvedere Singing Competition), Athens (International Maria Callas Grand Prix), Helsinki (Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition), etc.
