APPLICATION AND PARTICIPATION:

Active participants:

  • Only cellist students from the Liszt Academy may apply by completing the online application form below.
  • Application deadline: 30 October 2019
  • The final list of active participants are selected by the Cello Sub-Department.
  • The university doesn't provide piano accompaniment. Please write in the 'Piano' cell the name of your piano accompanist. If you will play solo piece, you don't need to fill it.

Passive participants:

  • The master class is free of charge and open to all interested as the rooms' capacity allows. No preliminary application is necessary.
  • Certificates of attendance are not issued.

 

Kangho Lee is one of Korea’s most popular cellist and chamber musician. After his studies on the Yale University he gained his doctoral degree from the New England Conservatory. His performances with the greatest ensembles of South Korea are highly acclaimed by both enthusiasts and experts all around the world, from Paris and Rome through the greatest concert halls of Russia all the way to the United States. Currently he is vice dean and professor of the Cello School of Music at the Korea National University of Arts and is a jury member for numerous international competitions.
