We are honored to welcome renowned harpist Geneviève Létang for a two-day masterclass at the Liszt Academy on April 15th and 16th. A professor at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, Geneviève Létang is a distinguished educator with a focus on contemporary music, orchestral repertoire, and sight reading. Deeply engaged in the music of our time, she has worked with leading contemporary composers such as Heinz Holliger, Peter Eötvös, Brian Ferneyhough, Raphaël Cendo, and has been a member of the Linea ensemble since 2007. Mme. Létang’s masterclass will feature lessons with harp students of the Liszt Academy, a concert of both original works for harp and transcriptions. The event will conclude with a workshop on contemporary music and sight reading.
