Chamber music groups formed by students of the Liszt Academy may apply with the members’ names, their instruments, and pieces to be performed at the master class. You can apply using the online form below (on the form, fill in the names in the first two blocks). If the applications are more than the number of classes, the Head of Department will choose the performing groups with the supervision of Jakob Fichert.

* The master class is open to all students of Liszt Academy and Bartók Conservatory as passive participants free of charge, with no prior registration. Others must register at detari.alexandra@zeneakademia.hu email address.
Jakob Fichert is a pianist and former student of the Musikhochschule in Karlsruhe and the Royal College of Music in London. He received his PhD at York University, wrote his doctoral dissertation on the piano works of Adolf Busch and is an internationally acclaimed and prize-winning musician both as soloist and chamber musician. His recordings for Naxos, Toccata Classics, Resonus Classics and Métier labels have received universal critical acclaim. He is currently Principal Lecturer in Piano at Leeds Conservatoire and Lecturer in Piano Studies at the University of York. A much in demand teacher, Fichert has given numerous international masterclasses at universities, music schools and conservatories in the UK, China, Mexico and Chile.
