Miha Haas was born in Ljubljana into a musical family and started to learn piano at a very young age. After finishing his studies at the Ljubljana Academy of Music and at the Royal Music Conservatory in Brussels, he began his career as a performer and teacher. Currently he works at the Ljubljana Music Academy as an associate professor teaching piano and chamber music (with a special emphasis on piano duos).

Besides the solo pianist’s career Haas focuses on chamber music, giving concerts in many European countries and in the United States. Also, Haas is a very active pedagogue and researcher. He is an advocate of modern pedagogical methods that don’t follow the path of conventional teaching and stress students’ independent thinking over professors’ authority.

  • Active participants will be selected by the professors of the Chamber Music and the Keyborad Department.
The application for active participants is closed.

Passive participants:

  • The master class is free of charge for passive participants. No preliminary application is necessary.
