The schedule of the active participants will be posted on the Liszt Academy website a few days prior to the course.
Passive participants:
Only students and teachers of the Liszt Academy of Music and the Bartók Conservatory, as well as students of the Trainer of Extraordinary Talents are eligible to participate in the course. Pre-registration is not required.
Rafael Rosenfeld, a renowned European cellist, gained international recognition after winning first prize at the International Geneva Competition in 2000. He has performed across Europe with prestigious orchestras and participated in major festivals. Educated at the Zürich Conservatory and Lübeck College of Music, he was influenced by musicians like András Schiff and György Kurtág. Since 1995, he has been the principal cellist of the Zürich Tonhalle Orchestra and is also a member of András Schiff's Cappella Andrea Barca. Since 2002, he has focused on string quartet literature with the Merel Quartet. He currently teaches at the Basel Music Academy.
