CV:

Born in Alberic (Valencia), Xavier Torres is one of the most interesting Spanish pianists of today. Praised by critics and audiences, his repertoire ranges from music by the first French harpsichordists to works by contemporary composers. He has performed in various European countries (in addition to Spain, Germany, France, Portugal and Hungary), highlighting his participation in the Festival del Mediterrani, presided by Zubin Mehta, and his repeated appearances as a soloist with the Valencia Orchestra. His CD dedicated to J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations was acclaimed by specialized critics and included by Grammophone magazine among the most interesting of recent years.
