Auditions for the Encuentro Festival 2024 at the Liszt Academy
The Encuentro Festival announces auditions for talented violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet and piano players as well as singers.
Please note that active full-time students* of the Liszt Academy enjoy priority in signing up for the audition*.

REPERTOIRE:
STRINGS / PIANO / VOICE / HARP: maximum 20 minutes, 2 pieces (one classical & one Romantic/20th century). A short interview with maestro Péter Csaba, artistic director of the Festival is also expected.
WINDS: maximum 15 minutes, 2 pieces (one classical and one Romantic/20th century). A short interview with maestro Péter Csaba, artistic director of the Festival is also expected.

In a response e-mail, you will receive a link to the schedule in order to book a time-frame at the audition and enter your program. Your application is considered as finalized only after you have entered these information!
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NUMBER OF PLACES AT THE AUDITION IS LIMITED. TIME-FRAMES ARE GIVEN IN THE ORDER OF THE APPLICATION!
Organizers keep the right to change the details of this announcement at any given time.
IMPORTANT:
Please bring a printed copy of your CV/biography in English with photo and contact details to the audition.
Please, arrive with your own accompanist for the audition and indicate their name in the schedule.
Registration is open until Monday, 15 January 2024, 12.00 am. After that, the audition schedule will be finalized. Changes in the schedule may be requested only on highly reasonable grounds.
Results are usually published in March/April. Individual assessment of the audition is not given.

* When signing up, please note that priority is enjoyed by full-time active BA- or MA-students (performance) of the Liszt Academy! Those enrolled to teachers’ training, non-degree- or DLA-studies, Erasmus exchange students, those who have already finished their studies but are younger than 26 and those who are not current or previous students of the Liszt Academy will automatically be signed up to the waiting list!
