Chamber Music Department to hold chamber music workshop

THE STAGE IS YOURS!

The Chamber Music Department of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music will hold a chamber music workshop on 9 December 2022, between 10.00–17.00, in the Auditorium (Room I) of the Main Building. The workshop is for the chamber music groups formed in the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023.

What will participants receive?

Groups with the best plans, material and performance will be given performance opportunities by the Liszt Academy.

What material should you prepare?

• Introduction of the formation and description of the project idea - optionally the name of the formation, contact person, CVs, photos, repertoire, short description of the planned project idea and programme, all material deemed important for the introduction.
• Presentation of the project idea (audio-visual presentation will be possible too). Optionally this can be a short performance, or a presentation that gives a taste of the project material.

The amount of time available per presentation is 7 minutes.

5 groups will present after each other, which is followed by a 10–15 minute workshop discussion.

Who is the jury?

The professors of the Chamber Music Department and András Csonka, programme director.

Who is the announcement for?

Those who wish to perform, get experience and learn from the ideas of others.
