Orchestra for Diploma Concert (for MA students)
Dear Students!
My name is Kristof Ignacz, I am the international relations manager at Szolnok Symphonic. I would like to introduce an opportunity to you that would greatly ease and enhance your preparation for your diploma concert.
As you know, many students are able to organize a temporary ensemble (not necessarily a complete orchestra) for their diploma concert that mostly consists of friends and classmates. Organizing such temporary ensemble takes a lot of efforts and unfortunately sometimes lack of artistic harmony.
Organization and rehearsals create a lot of pressure so the graduating student is unable to focus 100% on his/her own performance.
Szolnok Symphonic is a professional orchestra of the City of Szolnok and we would be happy to take this stress off you and provide quality performance for your preparation and your diploma Concert. Generally, most of the popular pieces that are chosen for diploma concert are on standard repertoire for us. We will prepare a quotation based on your requirements FREE OF CHARGE. The fees for the orchestras will be calculated mainly on a case by case basis depending on the repertoire and the orchestration, etc. (besetzung).
In recent years we have performed on numerous diploma concerts for example, Liu Song, Adam Mester, Shizuka Oroszi Morigaki, etc. At our latest concert the orchestra performed with Dóra Nagy oboist for the full satisfaction of professor Gabor Dienes. Our orchestra works with many accomplished conductors, our chief conductor is Maestro Izaki Masahiro, we also work with Adam Cser (2017 Maestro Solti Finalist, Music director at Miskolc Theater) Peter Dobaszay (2017 Maestro Solti Finalist) Mate Hamori (Danubia Orchestra). Students will be able to choose from the conductors depending on availability.
It is also important to point out that in addition to play with a professional orchestra, graduating students could be offered future concert opportunity or would even be considered for a permanent position in the orchestra.
Thank you for your attention to this material.
