George Stoffan clarinettist, professor of the Oakland University, he is currently a Fulbright Scholar at the Liszt Academy of Music, where he is engaged in  collaborative work in American music for clarinet. 

Mr. Stoffan is the first clarinettist of the Oakland Symphony Orchestra, but also he had many concerts in the United States and performed in fourteen recordings, some of which are available on the Naxos label. He has performed in recital at International Clarinet Association Conferences all over the world. Mr. Stoffan is currently the Michigan State Chair of the International Clarinet Association.

The Fulbright Commission is a bilateral organization representing the United States Department of State and a government commission of Hungary.  Their common aim is to promote exchanges of scholars and students in all disciplines in order to foster greater cultural awareness and mutual understanding.
