The European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) has been an outstanding success throughout almost two decades of activity. The ultimate goal is to provide fertile ground for shaping the musical world of the future, with a particular emphasis on chamber music. The international programme ECMA PRO was brought into being to serve as a workshop for young, exceptionally talented ensembles. The programme does not only enable participants to enhance their knowledge in master classes, but also to introduce themselves in high-profile festival performances and showcase concerts.

Musicality and a love for premiering unpublished works represent core features of the KamBrass Quintet founded in Barcelona in 2019. While being active performers, they also keep improving under the guidance of teachers such as Isabel Charisius, Immanuel Richter and Rainer Schmidt. Winners of the 1st prize at the Philip Jones Brass Preis Lucerne and the “American Brass Qunitet” special prize at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, the quintet regularly returns to play at renown festivals such as Gezeiten Festival, Chamber Music Campus Weikersheim, Festival de Santander and Davos Music Festival.

The Franco-Swiss Trio Ernest are artists in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, at ProQuartet, at the European Chamber Music Academy and at the “Le Dimore del Quartetto” programmes. It has won many awards including Pro Musicis International Award (Paris), the 1st prize at the Verao Classico Festival and Academy Chamber Music Award (Lisbon) and the 1st prize of the Orpheus Chamber Music Competition (Zurich).
