Deadlines

Dear Students,

Instrument rental for the academic year 2023/24 will go according to the follwoings:

Period of contracts of borrowing:

In case of graduating students:

1. if the student is taking the entrance examination at the Academy for a programme starting in September 2024: 31 August 2024 (last day for the borrowing period)
2. if the student finishes their studies in the summer of 2024: 31 May 2024 (last day for the borrowing period)

All other students: 31 August 2024 (last day for the borrowing period)

Earlier dates are naturally possible.

Deadlines:

Renewal of instrument rental contracts running out on 31 August:

• the request form in Neptun is only available for active students, hence submitting the request is available after enrolment/registration
• request submission deadline: 12 September (Tuesday), midnight
• late fee: 18 000 HUF/month + the monthly rental fee of 8 000 HUF (for every month started)
• rental contracts that are ready may be signed at the Instrument Rental Office during office hours (Thursday and Friday, 9.00-15.00)

New instrument rental:

• the request form in Neptun is only available for active students, hence submitting the request is available after enrolment/registration
• trying the instrument is possible after making an appointment at the Instrument Rental Office
• the compulsory form to attach to the Neptun request is available at the Instrument Rental Office

Important notes:

• Keeping the deadlines of the instrument rental contract is the responsibility of the students. If the deadline is not met, and there is no contract renewal and no presenting of the instrument, late fee applies.
• Students must return the request form to the office with the signatures as soon as possible.
