A 5-strong project consortium led by the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Academy has been awarded a significant funding of ~270.000€ through the Erasmus+ ‘Strategic Partnerships Call in Response to Covid-19’.

Several students from the Liszt Academy placed highly at the 35th National Scientific Student Conference (OTDK) in the Arts and Artistic Sciences Section, which took place between 8th and 10th April.

In early April, two of our students were among the winners.

János Kárpáti, honorary professor of the Liszt Academy and former Director of the Library passed away at the age of 88 after a protracted and serious illness.

The young student of the Liszt Academy received the highest score among the cellists in all age groups.

The awardees are Gergely Barta, Borbála Dobozy, Sándor Falvai, Zoltán Farkas “Batyu”, Miklós Harazdy, Armand Kautzky, Katalin Kokas and Dr. Zsuzsanna Domokos.
