Marianna Bednarska held a highly successful masterclass at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.

With a total prize fund of more than 70,000 euros, Liszt Academy's 7th Éva Marton International Singing Competition will be held in early September 2026 in Budapest.

Dr. Gábor Farkas participated in discussions at numerous institutions in several cities, as well as attending conferences, holding master classes, and giving concerts.

The application system is now open for applicants wishing to pursue studies at the Liszt Academy with the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship in the academic year 2026/2027.

Representatives of the Liszt Academy participated in a joint event with regional partner institutions at the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music.

The experts of the AEC, a prestigious organization bringing together institutions, held their 25th annual meeting at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, with great success.

At the prestigious international bagpipe competition ''Gajdovačka'', Dávid Király, newly appointed lecturer at the Folk Music Department, won first prize, while students Csongor Mokos came second and Levente Dobos was awarded with a special prize.

Klára Dudás and Borbála Töreky took part in the Ruh-Sanat festival, obtaining jury recognition at the competition programme.

Jeonghwan Kim was awarded with the first prize of €22,000 after Sunday's orchestral final at this year’s Bartók World Competition organised for pianists at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, by the international jury headed by Yoheved Kaplinsky from The Juilliard School.

Pianist Dr Dávid Báll worked as a jury member at an international competition and gave masterclasses.
