A student of the Liszt Academy won two international competitions
Gábor Eckhardt's student, Ildikó Rozsonits, recently won first prize in the IMF Paris competition and the Piano Talents competition in Milan. She also received an award by the Hungarian Cultural Center in New York.
The student of the School for Exceptional Young Talents at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music won first place in the IMF Paris International Piano Competition in the age group of 14 to 17 years. 122 competitors from 36 countries took part in the two-round online competition. The final round was scheduled to take place in Paris, but due to the pandemic, it was eventually held online, as well. Ildikó also triumphed in the Piano Talents (Vincenzo Balzani online competition organized in Milan: she won a shared first prize in the age group of 14 to 15 years. This event was attended by 241 competitors from 41 countries, and there were 37 participants in her age group.
The results of a competition organized by the Hungarian Cultural Center of the Balassi Institute in New York were also recently announced, and Ildikó received an award in the age group of 0 to 33 years: four participants' talents were recognized in this way in addition to the winner.
