Current and former students of the Liszt Academy wins first prize and audience award in Lyon

The Duo Domo, formed by Domonkos Hartmann and Domonkos Csabay, won the 17th Lyon International Chamber Music Competition, and was also awarded the Audience Prize.
The competition was held between 19 and 23 April, this time the young talents could compete in a cello and piano formation. Domonkos Hartmann (BA 1st year student, teacher: Ditta Rohmann) and Domonkos Csabay also received a €10,000 prize for their 1st prize. They prepared for the finals with Kodály’s Sonatina, Brahms’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in F major, Thomas Adès’s Lieux Retrouvés and Chopin’s Grand duo concertant arranged by Auguste Franchomme.
