Dávid Burcsik wins prize at international competition in Belgium

In the competition, which ended on 17 July, the Liszt Academy student won the prize in the melodic instrumental and Age B categories with his performance of Bruce Hamilton’s Interzones, out of six finalists. The event, under the patronage of the Queen of Belgium, is part of the prestigious Universal Marimba Competition Belgium, which is held every two years for a variety of percussion instruments, and this year received 154 entries.
