Gergely Fazekas is the December winner of the Prize for Quality Journalism

The associate professor of the Musicology Department won the prize for his article on György Kurtág’s opera.

Fazekas Gergely won the last of the monthly Prize for Quality Journalism, in December, for his article on György Kurtág published on the website 444.hu. He won the jury’s approval with his thoroughness, choice of topic, and unique and smooth writing style.

Members of the jury: Vilmos Both, Gergely Dudás, Krisztián Nyáry, Veronika Pistyur, Júlia Sonnevend, Alinda Veiszer and Balázs Weyer.

The author of the winning article received HUF 200.000 as prize money.
