Gergely Lukács won first prize at the Bucharest Brass Competition

The Bucharest Brass Competiton was held the first time this year, where young brass musicians from around the world competed in two age groups. The trumpet, horn, trombone and tuba players competed together.

Gergely Lukács, MA 2nd year student at the Liszt Academy finished 1st in his age group and was also awarded the grand prize of the competition, which provides, among others, a solo concert with the State Philharmonic of Satu Mare.
