International Master Class by Gábor Csalog and András Kemenes

The master class focuses on the works of György Kurtág and György Ligeti.

The Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music (Budapest) is announcing its 1st International Kurtág-Ligeti master class, held by Gábor Csalog and András Kemenes between 11 and 15 July 2016.

In addition to the Kurtág and Ligeti works, participants may bring any other piano or chamber music pieces. It is not a prerequisite for course applicants to be familiar with György Kurtág’s works.

The course is for students of piano, vocal studies, violin, viola, cello, clarinet and flute, as well as chamber music groups and string quartets. (Members of chamber music groups and string quartets can apply for individual classes as well.)

All students at primary, secondary and higher education institutions and professors of music institutions are welcome to the course.
