Each year the isa (International Summer Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna) summer academy offers 10 scholarships for students of the Liszt Academy. The Liszt Academy can nominate 10 students (inclusive of the chamber ensemble members, too) for positions indicated below. Based on the final decision of the isaMasterClass organisers, selected students of the Liszt Academy can participate in the intense programme. STRINGS: violin, viola, cello, double bass
WIND INSTRUMENTS AND CHAMBER MUSIC FOR WINDS: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, chamber music

Selection process
Please, note that the selection process has two stages:
- By filling in the online application form at this link https://goo.gl/forms/0Ei38K25NOPEdEC02 you express your wish to be considered for the isa18’s Liszt Academy Scholarships (deadline for application: 4 February 2018). After that the Liszt Academy’s scholarship board – consisting of the Heads of Departments – will select 10 students the Liszt Academy will nominate for this year’s isa18 scholarships.
- The isaMasterClass board will select and contact students via email. The selected students will be required to register and upload their application materials (online application form, repertoire, and recording) to the isaMasterClass website. Based on the materials submitted, the isaMasterClass organisers will announce their final decision on scholarship recipients.
Expenses
The isaMasterclass scholarship covers accommodation, full board, workshop participation fees, admission to concerts of isaFestival), and the Liszt Academy provides financial support towards travel expenses and registration fee.
