(Per)Forming Identity - Becoming who you are as a musician
(Per)Forming Identity - Becoming who you are as a musician. WORKSHOP organized by the Artist Management Office of the Liszt Academy on 18-20 February 2016 at Liszt Academy Room Nr. 23
The classical music world is changing beyond recognition, following rapid developments all over the world. The 21st century musician will have to adapt to the new realities and challenges. But how? How to make choices, find your own direction, realise your dreams and ideas? How to do what you want to do as a professional musician?
In a few days full of lectures, workshops and discussions, four guests from the Netherlands will invite you to discover and invent, strengthen and stretch, extend and express your musical identity. After a short introduction into the history and context of present-day western music practice and some exchange of ideas, you will develop your own project.
