Success by Wu You in the Czech Republic

Wu You, Professor György Déri’s student in his preparatory class, won first prize and received the title of absolute winner at the 25th Heran Violoncello Competition held between 10 and 13 April 2019.

Wu you was also awarded numerous special prizes: the prize of the Czech National Radio, the prize of the Czech Musical Instruments Company, the prize of the Master Jaroslav Kocian Foundation, the prize of Bärenreiter Prague Music Publisher, and the prize of Czech Railways.
