Successes achieved by our students at the 12th National Dohnányi Ernő Chamber Music Competition
The Dohnányi Ernő Chamber Music Meeting and Competition was staged in Debrecen between 6-8 March. Once again this year several students of the Liszt Academy brought back prizes from the contest.
Krisztina Baksa (violoncello) and Márton Takáts (piano) – performing Rachmaninov’s Sonata in G minor -, Csenge Ilosfai (violin), Eszter Mády-Szabó (violoncello) and Mónika Ruth Vida (piano) – performing Smetana’s Trio in G minor – won a special merit award, while Márton Vörösváry (violin) and Mónika Ruth Vida (piano) – performing Beethoven’s Sonata in G major – won the merit award (professor of all three groups: Balázs Fülei). The three groups with a special merit award gave performances at the gala concert of the meeting.
Congratulations to all our students for their marvellous results!
