Three brass competitions announced by the Liszt Academy
In cooperation with the Davison Young Musicians Foundation, the university organises the National Brass Competition, the National Trumpet Competition and the National High School Trumpet Competition.
The British foundation was set up by musician Tom Davison to support outstanding young talent. Tamás Pálfalvi, trumpet player and assistant lecturer at the Liszt Academy, has been working with them from the very beginning.
Together with the university, the competitions for high school and university students will be held for the first time between 17 and 19 October 2024.
Applications can be submitted HERE, using the form in each competition announcement, between 25 September and 5 October.
The competitions offer the chance to win substantial cash prizes and prestigious musical instruments.
