Yoshiki Nishi success in Italy

Yoshiki Nishi, Japanese student of the Liszt Academy (professor: Kálmán Dráfi), won second prize at the 17th Mauro Paolo Monopoli Prize International Piano Competition held in Barletta, Italy, between 6-11 May 2014. Yoshiki Nishi got into the final after being picked from more than 100 contestants in the three-round contest, and he went on to play Beethoven's Appassionata Sonata and Brahms's Sonata in F sharp minor with convincing authority.
