Two gold medals for Kristina Vocetková in Filadelfia

The violoncello student of the Liszt Academy originally from Prague came first even in two categories – string and duo - of the 8th International Music Competition in Filadelfia, Italy.
Mihály Könyves-Tóth won silver in Prague

The trumpeter, who graduated from the Liszt Academy last year, came second out of 132 entrants at the 68th Prague Spring International Music Competition held between 7 and 15 May.
The Hungarian and international triumphs of our students of composition, violin and tuba

In April and May, 2016, numerous students of the Liszt Academy were awarded for their performances at Hungarian and international music contests. Two of them came first at our home competitions, the Composers’ Contest this year, three of our students won the competition organised by the OSA Archive, two of our violinists collected a gold medal at the International Balys Dvarionas Competition for Young Pianists and Violinists, while the tuba student Gergely Lukács was awarded 1st prize in Varaždin.
