Lukács Pál violist, who established the viola education in the Hungarian higher education, would be having his 100th birthday on 27 April 2019. To commemorate the late master's life-work the Strings Department of the Liszt Academy holds a competition in his memory.

The Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and the Liszt Academy Foundation announce the Andor Éva Memorial Competition for students of the Department of Vocal Studies of the Liszt Academy. Deadline for applications: 1 March 2016.

Pianists born after 1 January 1984 can submit applications for the 14th Liszt Competition (organized by Filharmónia Magyarország) by 2 May 2016.
