Studies:
She graduated from the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music as a piano student. Simultaneously, with a special permission from the rector, she attended the harpsichord classes of János Sebestyén at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music for two years.
She began her higher-level harpsichord studies under Zuzana Růžičková at the Bratislava College of Music, and later continued with her at the Prague Academy of Music, where she obtained her diploma with distinction.
In the following years she studied historic performance practice, starting at the Salzburg Mozarteum under the auspices of Liselotte Brändle, Nikolaus Harnoncourt and Johann Sonnleitner. After graduating with distinction again, she continued her studies with Johann Sonnleitner for a year at the Zürich Academy of Music.
She participated in the master classes of Kenneth Gilbert (1981 Antwerp, 1983 Salzburg).
She earned her DLA degree in 2013.
Competition wins:
She has participated in numerous international competitions. A major landmark in her career came in 1983 when she won a prize at the prestigious International Harpsichord Competition in Brugge, Belgium.
Teaching activities:
She was a professor at the Szeged Department of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.
She has held harpsichord courses in Hungary, Norway, Belorussia, Slovenia and Serbia.
Between 2004 and 2013 she was a teacher at the early music course organized annually in Thoiry, France.
Between 2009-2015 she was senior lecturer, and from 2015 associate professor at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.
Major concerts:
She has performed at the world’s leading music festivals including the Budapest Spring Festival, the Salzburg Festival, the Bergen Festival and the Concentus Moraviae. She gave concerts in most countries of Europe as well as in the USA, and has made several radio/television recordings and CDs.
As an artist she has a focus on the oeuvre of Johann Sebastian Bach, but her repertoire embraces the entire harpsichord literature, including 20th-century and contemporary works. Several Hungarian composers, such as György Arányi-Aschner, Árpád Balázs, Frigyes Hidas and Máté Hollós have written pieces especially for her.
She was a jury member at the international harpsichord competitions in Leipzig (2000), Brugge (2001) and Prague (2012).

Her album featuring the works of Gottlieb Theophil Muffat won the German Record Critics’ Award in Hamburg in 1992.
