TEACHING ACTIVITIES:
He has been teaching at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music since 1973.
 
MAJOR CONCERTS, ORCHESTRAL MEMBERSHIPS:
He has performed in almost all the countries of Europe. In the course of his fifteen American tours, he has given a hundred and fifty concerts. He has been invited to tour the Far-East six times and he has toured around South-America as well. Fifteen of his solo albums have been published so far, and he was the first Hungarian violinist who, at one single concert, played all the solo sonatas and partitas of Johann Sebastian Bach. Szenthelyi had been senior lecturer of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music since 1978, and has been associate professor since 1989. He tought  Attila Falvay, concertmaster of the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and leader of the Kodály String Quartet. From the contemporary young generation, he tought Kristóf Baráti and József Lendvay, who, as soloists, have already made significant international careers. Since the middle of the 1970s, he had been a soloist of the National Philharmonia, and in 1988 he established the Hungarian Virtuosos Chamber Orchestra, where he is artistic director, soloist and conductor.
