The most recent site of the international programme series ’Bartók-135’ was the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, where the Liszt Academy was welcome with the sequel to its former project series ’Reflections’; this time focussing on Bartók’s works.

The delegations representing the joint international programme series of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Liszt Academy have visited four new sites: Belgrade, Brussels and Jerusalem.

Two boogie-woogie musicians from the US, Wendy DeWitt (piano, voice) and Kirk Harwood (drum) will be the Jazz Department’s guests on 6 December 2016 to hold an introductory lecture on the genre and master classes for students of jazz piano, jazz voice, and jazz drum.
