Milán Hodován, junior BA student at the Department of Applied Composition, received the award for best film score and his team ranked second at the international film competition organised in Eindhoven.

Analyses of the experiences of our significant composers in 1956 and their works associated with the revolution have been published as part of the ‘1956 and Music: History, Events, and Consequences’ volume, which was presented to the public on October 22 in the Solti Hall of the Academy of Music.

For the first time, the 15th-century Hungarian medieval Codex, Futaki Graduale, and its detailed analysis has been published by the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and the Topkapi Museum of Istanbul. The book, which contains important conclusions, was written by Andrea Kovács, professor at the Department of Church Music.
