Internationally acclaimed violinist and conductor Gábor Takács-Nagy is holding a master course 7-9 December for Liszt Academy students.

Sandra Shapiro, professor of piano at Cleveland Institute of Music is holding a master course 1 December 2015 at the Liszt Academy for students of piano and for chamber ensembles with pianist members.

Ivan Ženatý, professor of violin at Cleveland Institute of Music is holding a master course 1 December 2015 at the Liszt Academy for students of violin and for chamber ensembles with string members.

The competition organized between 7th and 11th October in honor of clarinetist Béla Kocács, Professor Emeritus at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music brought success to several Liszt Academy students.

The prize to be awarded annually to a composer under 40 was presented by the Hungarian Composers’ Union to András Gábor Virágh for his opera Femme Fatale 2200111XXG on 11th October.
