On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Hungary, several students and teachers from the Liszt Academy visited universities in Seoul, where the students and the teachers performed concerts and the teachers taught master courses as well.

Students of the Liszt Academy attended the European Music Academy Festival in Warsaw between 9 and 11 November. Róbert Erdős, Ádám Király, Sebestyén Pellet and Dominika Ács represented the university at the prestigious event.

Milán Hodován, junior BA student at the Department of Applied Composition, received the award for best film score and his team ranked second at the international film competition organised in Eindhoven.

Analyses of the experiences of our significant composers in 1956 and their works associated with the revolution have been published as part of the ‘1956 and Music: History, Events, and Consequences’ volume, which was presented to the public on October 22 in the Solti Hall of the Academy of Music.

For the first time, the 15th-century Hungarian medieval Codex, Futaki Graduale, and its detailed analysis has been published by the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and the Topkapi Museum of Istanbul. The book, which contains important conclusions, was written by Andrea Kovács, professor at the Department of Church Music.
