The famous timpanist will visit the university on the last day of February.

The member of the Stradivari Quartet and artistic director of Stretta Concerts will visit the Strings Department on 1 March.

The Liszt Academy in Budapest, as the organizer, has announced the Bartók World Competition – Violin 2023 with a total prize of 44,000 euros. The jury will again consist of world-renowned musicians.

There will be no distinction between active and passive participants in the class of this versatile, self-defined multi-instrumentalist musician, students of any major may apply.

The world-famous conductor received the certificate from President Dr. Andrea Vigh.

The scholarship made possible thanks to the generous support of Japanese companies in Hungary, is awarded to young, talented Japanese students who study at Liszt Academy.

On 29 November and 12 December 2022, the pianist gave online lessons to students of the Keyboard and Harp Department on a Disklavier piano.

Violin–piano duos were submitted for the 2022 round organised for composers, with violinists Ágnes Langer and Barnabás Kelemen as well as pianist József Balog performing at the gala.

The Belgian jazz pianist, specialist of the Fender Rhodes will teach students of the Liszt Academy and the Bartók Conservatory on 30 November from 10 to 12 a.m.
